Provides technical expertise pertaining to maintenance Static Equipment (Plant) under TL Maintenance Mechanical Plant / Facility Services’ scope; ; through the supervision of equipment inspections, preventive and performing maintenance and repairs for static equipment at designed plants / facilities in coordination with owner assets; in order to ensure optimum plant availability, maximizing plant operational efficiency, reliability and safety and minimizing Opex.
The position will act in accordance with the Group’s Mission, Vision, Values & Strategies, as well as, policies, guidelines and standards, supported by IT Technology platform, HSE standards, Omani government & other legal justifications, and best international practices in consonance with national objectives
Main tasks and responsibilities
Follow existing procedures for undertaking preparatory checks and troubleshooting in order to maintain the equipment’s availability.
Report any field deficiencies through proper communication channels.
Handles independently with minimal supervision all type of equipment assigned to his discipline.
Guides, trains and coaches junior staff members
Complies with all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Perform housekeeping activities within the area of responsibility to ensure cleanliness and orderliness
